iPhone Users Can Now Share Their Netflix Viewing Habits To Instagram Stories
Netflix and chill… with Instagram stories?
Yes, Netflix has added a new feature to their iPhone app. Now users can share what they’re watching directly to Instagram Stories.
Users now have the option of sharing what they’re watching without leaving the Netflix app. This feature is available to iPhone users starting today (January 22), and it will be available in Netflix’s Android app very soon.
When a user shares what they’re watching on Netflix to Instagram Stories, Netflix’s cover art for the program will appear in Instagram stories.
But this is Instagram stories, right? We can customize that image with options from Instagram, such as the stickers and also with gifs.
What’s good about this?
Well, if you share what you’re watching on Netflix to your Instagram Stories, your followers will be able to watch what you’re watching simply by tapping on your story.
If you tap on someone you’re following who’s sharing what they’re watching on Netflix, you have to have the app installed on your iPhone also.
Netflix has released a statement: “We’re always on the lookout for ways to make it easier for members to share the Netflix titles. They’re obsessing about and help them discover something new to watch.”
This social sharing feature will definitely get more eyeballs to the content that’s available through the Netflix app.
The next time you’re watching Netflix on your iPhone don’t forget to tap and share to Instagram stories.
Will you use this new way to share what you are watching on Netflix?
